Privacy
Foculoom LLC operates Noraze. This notice covers the website, The Quiet Below browser game, and the game's Apple apps. The free iPhone and iPad app is available on Apple's App Store. Dedicated Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro apps are in preparation and are not yet publicly available. New source-kit sales are paused; existing customer access is managed through itch.io. App downloads and source-kit customer records are handled on those providers' services, not on these pages.
Using this site
These pages have no accounts, checkout, or advertising. The feedback form linked from Support is hosted by Tally; it is not embedded in these pages. The page code does not set a first-party tracking cookie. The hosting service receives the technical information normally sent when your browser requests a page, such as an IP address and browser details, and may process it to deliver and protect the site.
Website measurement
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits to our public pages and how those pages perform. Its browser script reports page views and page-load timing; reports can group activity by page, referring site, browser, and device category. Cloudflare processes these measurements for us. Its Web Analytics service does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors and does not track individuals across websites.
We use aggregate reports to improve navigation, reliability, and product information. We do not collect game moves, puzzle answers, predictions, or recordings of browsing sessions. The optional challenge-preview diagnostics described below collect only coarse events. Browser game saves remain on your device. We retain our generated aggregate review reports for 12 months; Cloudflare manages the underlying measurement data under its own policies. See Cloudflare Web Analytics information.
Browser game saves
The Quiet Below stores game progress in your browser’s local storage on noraze.com. The current game uses the key quiet-below-campaign-v2; the earlier prototype keeps its separate save keys. Clearing site data or browser storage can remove that progress. The game has no account or cross-device save sync. Existing saves on the older private Site remain on that separate origin and do not transfer automatically.
Apple app progress
The Quiet Below's Apple apps keep gameplay progress on each device. They do not require a game account, show ads, include app analytics, or sync progress across devices. Removing an app or clearing its local data can erase that device's progress. The apps do not automatically send saved games or puzzle actions to us. The website measurement described above applies to Noraze pages, not the bundled game in the Apple apps.
Sending feedback through our Support form or by email is optional and separate from gameplay. The apps do not automatically attach local progress to a message you choose to send.
When you use the feedback form
The optional form on Support opens on Tally. It asks which Noraze product your feedback concerns, what kind of feedback it is, and your description. You may add an edition, device or browser and an email address for a reply; these are optional. Do not include passwords, payment details, private files, or other sensitive information.
Tally stores completed responses for us and emails a copy to our Noraze feedback mailbox. We use responses to investigate problems, consider improvements, and reply when you provide an address. Tally retains submissions until we delete them; we can review, export, or delete them in our account. Authorized AI tools may assist us in categorizing feedback and preparing private summaries for review. We keep original messages in our form and email systems and use minimal triage records and redacted summaries for product decisions. We do not automatically send replies or publish submissions. See Tally's privacy information for its handling of form data.
When you email us
If you use the support email fallback, we receive the information you choose to send, along with your email address. We use it to respond, investigate problems, consider improvements, and manage the correspondence. Please do not email passwords, payment details, or private files. Sending feedback is voluntary and does not create an account. Authorized AI tools may assist with private categorization and summaries, as described above.
Other release channels
The Quiet Below browser game is playable here. The free iPhone and iPad app is listed on Apple's App Store; Apple distributes it and shows its App Privacy information on the listing. The current free app has no in-app purchases. If optional room skips are added later through StoreKit, Apple will process those payments and the app will check purchase ownership; a purchase will not sync gameplay progress. New HTML5 source-kit sales are paused; itch.io continues to handle existing customers' purchase records and download access. The Steam Mac game is available for wishlisting, with no public download yet. The dedicated Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro apps are not publicly available. The other project holding pages do not run an app or take purchases.
For questions about this notice, use the feedback and support form, or the email fallback on that page if the form does not work for you.
Optional challenge-preview diagnostics
The unfinished challenge preview offers a separate, optional measurement switch. It is off by default, applies only to the current page visit, and resets to off when you reload. You can play and give feedback without enabling it.
If you opt in, the preview sends its version and coarse events: start, rooms reached, hint level used, return visits, restarts and completion, with broad elapsed-time ranges. No moves, puzzle answers, saved boards, names, email addresses or persistent visitor identifiers are included. We do not link these measurements to feedback responses.
A same-origin Cloudflare service stores daily aggregate counters for up to 12 months. Random identifiers distinguish duplicate deliveries, not people. They are held only in the collector's memory for up to one minute and are never written to its database, logs or recovery history. A collector restart clears them sooner and can allow a duplicate count. The database contains only aggregate counters and temporary request-limit counters; Cloudflare's recovery history therefore contains no duplicate-event identifiers. Request-body logging and Worker observability are disabled for this service; ordinary hosting/security processing still applies.
Turning diagnostics off stops new sends and cancels pending client requests. Counts already received remain in anonymous aggregates. Counts represent participating measurement periods, not unique people; a missing completion does not prove someone abandoned the game.
